A nice package of almost 50 microlight or light aircraft airfields in Northern England (my home region). There are some very details, such as the sounds. At Eshott Airfield (my local microlight airfield) the airfield in real life and in FSX is right next to the busy A1 road. There is very convincing sounds of the nearby motorway in this addon. A real nice touch. The are some problems though. The donwload is a whopping 811Mb and not the 430MB indicated on the product page. I do not think this scnenery is well optimized in FSX, and subsequently it can be a lot harder on frames than one would expect. I also get regular OUT OF MEMORY errors when using this scenery. I have a high end system and do not get this with any other addons. I suspect FSDS used for some of hte objects is to blame. Also, there are some visual problems. The REX clouds can run through some of the buildings. Also I think some buildings are supposed to have smoke coming out of chimneys but I just get square boxes emanating from the roofs. Finally, some of the fields rely on the Horizon VFR base images for the runway depictions, so if you do not use Horizon VFR, you may missing some runways! This is the case at Eshott. With some optimization, this could be a very sweet package and great value for money. I give 3 stars when used with Horizon VFR, and 2 stars if used with FSX default scenery.
