Blade slingers are going to love it.
Helicopters are my vehicle of choice and with FSX, thats a good thing. With Helgoland, helis are a great thing. Graphically, HelgolandX looks great. The best Ive bought for FSX.
The airport is built among sand dunes and looks the part. A man waves at you as you approach the terminal.The main island has a ton of detail and a nice search and rescue base to land. Its rather small but with a nearby oil rig and the mainland, you can use both helis and fixed wing.
Overall Ive had alot of fun with this scenery even though I had never heard of Helgoland before.

I agree with James. This is one of the best addons so far for FSX and deserves lots of praise.
Unfortunately it does not do so well in FS9. For some reason they say that they cannot let you land on any land or provide moving vessels. You don't even see your own shadow on any Helgoland structure (note you do in the FSX version).
If only FlyTampa would do one! I'm sure the results for FS9 would have been a lot better.
This is still an excellent product for FSX but textures etc do not live up to the quality of many FS9 developers.
