AFS-design brings a excellent rendition of the famous supersonic helicopter AIRWOLF from the same 80 years cult series AIRWOLF, and 2 models of possible opponents ( Concept Aircrafts ) of AIRWOLF.
The original series AIRWOLF is an American television series that ran from 1984 to 1987. It was about the sophisticated spy high-tech military helicopter, code named AIRWOLF, and took their team, which various missions. It was a lot of espionage and the theme of the Cold War. The series was produced by Donald P. Bellisario. There were 79 episodes, each with 45 minutes in length, in 4 Stafeln. In the first three seasons Jan-Michael Vincent played as Stringfellow Hawke for the pilot of AIRWOLF, Ernest Borgnine as Mr. Dominic Santini, owner of Santini Air Services and Systems Officer of the AIRWOLF, Alex Cord as Michael Coldsmith Briggs III ( CIA Code Name: Archangel ) CIA agent and in the second and third season, Jean Bruce Scott as Caitlin O'Shannessy, co-pilot of AIRWOLF with. The last season was recast with new actors.
The new AFS-design Add-On contains the following models:

I was so exited when I saw this addon.
I have always been a great fan of the airwolf series.
But to tell you the truth about this addon, well I had in mind making a review for it because I thought it was going to be awesome, but the thing is, its not.
The Good Things:
Great shaped model that looks real, with tons of added features.
The Bad Things:
Almost impossible to control it. The responce when pulling the joystick, to an actual responce from the airplane is horrible.
It takes almost as long as a huge commercial airliner to respond to any inputs that I make, or maybe even longer.
The sound effects are not that good either.
Some points actually do remind me of the real deal, but the sounds from withing the virtual cockpit is so bad, that I can't even express it right, so I won't
The different parts inside the helicopter, cockpit, cabin area etc, you need to select a different model each time to switch around from the cockpit to the cabin area (which is more like a control room as it should be)
All those parts could have been joined into one single model and, the user would have been able to switch fron different locations inside the helicopter, like you see with other similar addons.
But no, you have to load a different model from the aircraft menu, each time you want to change seats, or go into the back of the helicopter. This is a huge minus.
The textures inside are okay, but far from the best.
I wont ask for a refund, because it was my own desition to get this addon, but I wont buy another software from AFS until they make better addons than this.
Simply not worth the money.
If it was a 40 of 50 % of the current price, then I would not mind the issues.
5 stars for teh external model.
minus 3 stars for the problems and medium textures inside the model.
Maybe to harsh?
Well half a star more if I could, but I can't.
Will gladly change my review into something better if this is fixed. |

The design is great, It deffantly looks like Airwolf.. However like the person said above me, Its extremely not airwolf.. Too hard to handle & fly.. The sound is terrible.. Airwolf only usually howls when its turning with its turbos on that i've ever heard in the show.. It makes the wolf sound every so often other than that it normally sounds like a normal Bell 222 when its just sitting on the ground.. This one when you shut it down, doesn't even sound like its shutting down it just keeps making all this racket noise.. Its almost annoying.. The real Airwolf doesn't do all that.. I'm sorry but I feel like I wasted my money on this one.. I wish I had read what the other person said but I had seen the pictures & fell in love with it & wanted to try it out but at a hard price now because now I'm stuck with it & its not that good..
