REQUIREMENTS FS2004

Armi Project presents the new Mega Airport of Thailand Suvarnabhumi Airport, the largest and very detailed airport in Thailand, nicely located for flights from central Sout East Asia finally available for FS2004.

Airport has the world's tallest control tower (132.2 m), and the world's third largest single-building airport terminal (563,000 m²). Suvarnabhumi is one of the busiest airports in Asia and Bangkok's primary airport for all international airline flights. With a capacity of handling 76 flight operations per hour, both international and domestic flights will share the airport terminal but will be assigned to different parts of the concourse.

High resolution images all the buildings and objects were placed just as they are on the real airport at this moment.
The Airport has 2 parallel runways and 2 parallel taxiways to accommodate. You will find the airport totally ready to handle the A380.

The many small details and dynamic vehicle traffic make the airport come to life and you will have to really take care while taxiing around on this airport!

Features:

  • All major airport buildings included
  • High resolution model and texture
  • taxiway signs, and other small details
  • A380 terminal

When I saw this new Bangkok airport I also wanted to buy it direct because I was quite fed up with the free one, very boring scenery.
I didn’t believe my own eye’s when I saw how fantastic this new Bangkok was, the lighting and buildings are really in one word fantastic and also worth every single euro.
The frame rate is quite slow, but maybe this will change in the near future as I will buy quite soon a new computer because the new generation of scenery are getting more and better every day.
I am absolute imaged by the new product and it is one of my favourites.
I give it a 8.

I abosulutely love this add-on. I've been looking for this add-on for a while and when I seen it I had to get it. This airport is beautiful and I have no issue with it besides the frame rate it's not great but everything else works great plenty of AI traffic coming in and out using both runways. This is a great add-on.

"Also, they have´nt work anything with the runways or taxiroads."
I believe what's trying to be conveyed here is there's major clipping of the taxiways around the airport when one is taxing their aircraft. Most of us have downloaded the freeware version of this airport so we've made modifications to the elevation in this area to correct this issue. This may be an issue for us with modified elevations versus the default ground area in which this scenery was built for. The scenery is truly hard on framerates although I summized that was from my modifications for the freeware version on my system (maybe that's not the case). There should be instructions included to move AI from VTBD to VTBS as VTBS wasn't operational when FS9 was designed. There should also be consideration from this developer for the freeware photo scenery package that's available for the surrounding area around VTBS (moving trains and cars included). As it stands now the freeware VTBS coupled with the surrounding photo scenery/the freeware Bangkok city proper, is a better representation of the area as a whole than this airport scenery alone. This scenery looks great there's no mistake about it (really a great effort) but those of us already using the freeware version may have problems like I outlined above. I have since gone back to the free version as I don't have time to fix the elevation problem that made my freeware version display correctly without clipping taxiways. Those that have never done anything with this area may have no problems outside of moving AI over to this airport (which should have been included in the directions and/or 'how to' documentation). If the designer so feels inclined the best thing he could do is make sure his airport works with the freeware photo scenery out there. Those interested in this area there's also a great scenery package for Bangkok city proper with the original VTBD present which makes this area complete... Updates to this package can only help and I've kept this scenery to show my support for yet another FS9 design. With a little more work this could very well be a flawless effort...

In many ways this is a beutiful product, but it has a few limits. The framerate is rather slow, speacially around the buildings. Hopefully they can improve the framerate, then I would give them more stars. Also, they have´nt work anything with the runways or taxiroads.

Bought this addon few days ago.
All together, this scenery looks rather nice.
My computer is at latest top of the art and have no trouble handling this scenery on departure BUT at any time when arriving to VTBS (Armi scenery)the MSFS switches off upon arrival into the scenery range, typically at moreless 20nm.
Seems that there is a bug somewhere.
Never experienced this FS shutdown on other payware sceneries.
Can I suggest that SIMARKET, selling this product, requests ARMI to fix this issue or other as previously reported on this review.
Regards.
