»Demolition Company« lets you take over the leading of an upcoming … guess what: Demolition Company. Lots of missions will take you to the building sites in several parts of the city. Take a seat at the steering wheel of a big range of detailed construction and demolition machines and take a wrecking ball or the digger to reduce everything to rubble. Use TNT or just break down walls by jackhammer. Put the debris into the dump truck, so it will be removed automatically. You are free to invest the earned money into new machines or vehicles, which will unlock new missions in the city or on your testing ground.

I have the original version. After installing this new version, I was able to continue where I left off without starting over.
I think this version should be called "Demolition Company Airport Edition", because this is what it is all about. You do six missions at the airport. Mysteriously, however, planes only land here, never taking off. If you jump the fence (bring vehicle ride beside it on the driver side, then exit), a quick tour to the terminal is fun to visit. Airport area is roughly four times bigger than the other areas you do missions in. There are several projects to do, most of them fun and with merit. You won't do any terminal work, but there is an old control tower thats needs to partially come down. You get a few new tools to help you out (the same ones from the addon pack that you can purchase online). However, you are mostly limited to using just the pick. The thing I really hated was using the dump truck to transport the rubble. It is not fun to transport rubble and dump it about a minute's trip away. There is also a bulldozer you acquire from this new version, but you never need it. I tried using it once to round up some rubble, but it was too hard to steer and use. The best thing about this new version is that the airport is nicely detailed. The worse thing is the new addition of using a dumptruck and hauling rubble away, rather than dispersing with it immediately through a nearby grinder. |
