ATCsimulator 2 is the most accurate simulation of ARTS-IIIa and STARS equipment used for approach control in the United States. There is no reason to compare with London Control; they do not simulate the same equipment nor atc system. But for an authentic simulation with a host of additional tools such as the SDK, the link to Flight Simulator and FLight Explorer, it is unequaled by ANY ATC simulation product. |

There is something deeply satisfying about creating a plan and watching it work. This is the essence of ATCSimulator 2. Forget that it is THE premier Air Traffic Control simulation. Forget that it permits you to issue your commands to the pilots vocally, and have them respond and act appropriately. Visit the website to see the tremendous variety this simulation offers. Simply put, this simulation will test your ability to perform a job that is perhaps the most mentally demanding ever created. It gets no more real than this program. After all, “Real World” controllers continue to train using it! |

I have to say I like it. It's a briliant simulator, but it would be better for me if they made it for european ATC too. Cause it's not as they state "all radar screens are round"! Not at all, other simulators are square and fill the screen cause that's how we do it over here :)
That is my only critic about this product, the describtion, it's just not right to say other simulators are bad when they don't simulate the same! No comparison at all.
Well it's good and a fun product, if you like US atc and US phrasology. |

Get this if you are interested in ATC.
It is very hard and challenging, but will appeal to those who like ATC, otherwise there are more interesting things to do than watch the sweep go around.
People who like ATC should also consider London Control which is UK ATC as opposed to ATC Sim 2 which is US ATC. |
