BUCARAMANGA FS2004

Bucaramanga is a small city located in the department of Santander in the northeast of Colombia. The city is located at an altitude of 980mts above sea level, with an average temperature of 25C.

The airport is located 7km west of the city in the top of a mountain making this a very challenging place to land; some pilots refer to this airport as “the carrier”

With a runway of 2260m long and 45m wide it receives over 1.2 million passengers a year. Airlines as Avianca, Copa Colombia, Aires, Easy fly, satena  and some  others operate in this airport with aircraft such as 737, md-83, E190, Fokker 50 & 100, Do28, Dash 8, plus GA aircraft and some air force ones like c-130, 707 and 727.

60km south you will find the “los pozos” airport which is close to San Gil, the touristic capital of Santander thanks to the amazing landscape, extreme sports and ecological tourism available in the area.
