This plane can be summed up in two words...Utter Brilliance! Excellent visuals, panel and sounds at a low price. What more could you ask for? Carenado's work is always excellent, and I would not hesistate to buy more from them.

This add-on contains all of the Carenado ingredients of their other offering that I have just bought, the U206 Stationair. These 2 planes go side by side perfectly in your FS Hangar! The Stationair for longer, continental runs and the 182 for really short hops. The 182 has a drop-dead gorgeous exterior model (all Carenado planes do), a stunning VC and the usual highly realistic sound set (puts the default and Flight 1 c172 sound sets to shame!), which really adds to the immersion. I really cannot fault this add-on, if you like GA planes you should buy it. It's pretty much faultless, and fantastic to fly from the virtual cockpit, especially if you use the Track IR head tracking device. Up until today, the Caranedo U206G Stationair II was in my opinion the best add-on ever produced for FS... but as of today it shares this accolade with the 182RG.

As far as I'm concerned, any plane Carenado makes is well worth buying. I don't think any other designer of g.a. planes combines such a blend of stunning textures, great modeling, superb vitrual cockpits, and frame-rate friendliness. The C182RG looks to be their best work yet with a virtual cockpit and guage detail that knocked my socks off. Outstanding.

An absolute masterpiece. First I thought: Not another Cessna. But now I cannot live my flightsimulator-life without it. Except the loop in the sound file I could not find a downside. Finally obe developer who does not use the customers a beta-testers!
Every star of the five stars is deserved.

I just bought the 182Rg and love it. I have been virtual flying since the mid 80's. Wow this is amazing. The graphics with this is well worth the money. I typically fly cessnas in the sim world as this is what I have flown in the real world. It is the closest I have ever used to real world flying.

Incredible - if you enjoy flying General Aviation aircraft just buy it. The panel is photoreal, very crisp and looks amazing, the avionics fit perfectly, and the the it has a real avionics stack that you see in most GA aircraft -mix and match, some new, some old. The VC looks awesome, the gauge refreshes are pretty quick. The external model is incredible, especially the textures. The gear animation is just right, looking clumsy just like the real thing. The sounds are pretty good, and the FD's (after the patch) are very convincing. This is Carenado's best offering yet - so don't hesitate, you won't regret buying it.

Carenado has a Great Reputation among True Flight Sim Fans. Their Consistancy and Quality is very hard to beat. They have again delivered a Top Notch Plane for our Flying Pleasure. I Love Everything about the new Skylane. The only negative.....Is that I wish they would do/have done the 182S.
Thanks Carenado.
