Alaska Kodiak Adventures for the Quest Kodiak
Alaska Kodiak Adventures for the Quest Kodiak adds five missions flying in Alaska in Lionheart's Kodiak. Developed with careful attention to balance fun and challenge, these missions allow you to experience the power and flexibility of this classic aircraft.
The aircraft is a turboprop powered 10 passenger, high endurance bush plane designed for all the elements of the world. Featuring STOL capabilities, a rugged landing gear and airframe, a new dual wingfoil design, and a large clamshell style door for loading cargo and passengers more easily.
This unique, high tech bush plane comes equipped with the state of the art Garmin G1000 panel system linked with the modern S-Tec Five-Fifty X Auto Pilot system. The Flight Sim version of the Kodiak features a low resources MFD GPS panel system that is designed to use less computer power to render the map, and also can be turned off into 'sleep mode' for added frame rate performance.
Mission complexity has increased a notch with this release, with more random variables and player choices. Moreover, failures are randomized and range from simple vacuum system problems to partial engine failure.
Alaskan scenery is rugged and beautiful. Missions include dusk and dawn flights in two different seasons to and from famous locations like Anchorage, Juneau and Skagway in the Klondike.
Missions include new scenery, a variety of voices, and the challenging conditions of Arctic flight. Begin in Anchorage and make your way to the coast. Mission types include search and rescue, transport, homeland security and ferrying cargo and passengers. Fly for the US Coast Guard in bad weather. All types of weather are included, as well as emergency situations. On screen mission goal markers are available in all missions. New rewards include the USCG Service medal.
The Quest Kodiak offers amazing power and a very low stall speed, plus the ability to handle a heavy load. Throw in the Garmin G1000 and you are ready for the most challenging conditions. Get clearance and go! |
