NECESSITE FS2004 or FSX The aircraft set was designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 9 but we have provided for a fully compatible and functioning plane set for Microsoft Flight Simulator X; which although not native (meaning it does not exploit all of the DirectX 10 features of the latter), does not in our view detract from the graphic experience in-game (see the Paint Schemes and Instrument Panel sections in the screenshots below).

We are proud to present the CWDT Bf109 Volume I, the first of many to come, focusing on one of the most prolific and highly developed German fighters of WWII.

This first Volume depicts the Bf109 G-6 and Bf 109G-14 in 10 different Rüstsatz-kit configurations. It has been our goal to provide to the simmer a highly detailed model and texture base which preserve the beautiful lines of this aircraft; and to engineer flight files and a gauge file-set that are authentic and add to the immersion of the complete flying experience.

The aircraft set was designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 9 but we have provided for a fully compatible and functioning plane set for Microsoft Flight Simulator X; which although not native (meaning it does not exploit all of the DirectX 10 features of the latter), does not in our view detract from the graphic experience in-game (see the Paint Schemes and Instrument Panel sections in this manual for actual screenshots).

Base sounds by David Copley were recorded from various aircraft at various air-shows and heavily modified via resynthesis, mixing and filtering using custom and commercial signal processing software to match prominent characteristics of the Bf-109G's DB605A engine and sounds.

Special thanks to Gerald “WarbirdLover” Lindell, CWDT founding member and consultant, who contributed immeasurable moral support, without which, the project would not have reached fruition. Special thanks also, to guest modeler Dimitris Bakogiannis who contributed the pilot model on this aircraft.
