In just eleven months, the POLAR 5, was transformed into a high-tech Arctic Plane. The American company Basler Turbo Conversions specializes in the modernization of DC-3 aircraft. It extended the first hull built and modern technology in the cockpit and engines. The old engines were replaced by two turboprop engines, each 1281 hp strong.
