The programming is taken from our part task trainer designed to train real world pilots when converting from piston to turbine helicopters and is the most accurate representation of the Bell 206b Jetranger available.

Hotstart Engine meltdown

Causes include:

• Throttle opening prior to 12%-15% N1
• Starter release prior to 58% N1
• Start commenced above 150 deg. TOT
• Tail wind/TOT combinations
• low battery
• Authentic corrective action is modeled
• including accurate engine cooling by starter operation
