Indianapolis 2005 covers photorealistically all the city of Indianapolis and sorrounding area (about 3500 kms), which includes cities like Greenwood, Noblesville, Shelbyville, Carmel, Fishers among others.
Never a scenery for this city and its main airport has been done, at least none of its dimensions. It tries to match the real thing and how this area looks like in real life as close as possible. Here goes a list of what this scenery does include.
- Photoreal terrain textures made of 4.8m/px. aerial images. Covering around 3500 kms of Indianapolis and sorroundings.
- Photoreal seasonal textures.
- Photoreal night textures
- A complete representation of Indianapolis airport KIND which includes:
- All the airport terminals (International main terminal, Fedex, etc.).
- Dynamic Jetways in main terminal and ex United Facility Hub (frequency controlled).
- Terminal ground facility vehicles in both, main terminal as well as in Fedex cargo area (frequency controlled).
- All the airport hangars, most of them with frequency controlled opening doors
- Taxiway and runway signage
- Both the current and the new control tower (which in real life is aimed to be commissioned in 2005).
- Static objects
- Dynamic scenery (airport ground vehicles as well as cars coming and going away from the airport drop off area.
- Real buildings and vegetation around the airport zone (hotels, industrial, etc.) making you feel like being there.
- Almost all of the town's real buildings of 12 and more stories as well as many of those of less than 12 stories.
- Famous landmarks all around the city. (Soldiers & Sailors monument, Artsgarden, Indianapolis speedway, Indiana Statehouse etc.)
- Bridges over the White river.
- Autogen scenery of buildings and vegetation in Indianapolis and sorrounding cities (each building manually placed in their correct positions, trying to match the real location of each one and architecture of the zone). It has been made in a way that doesn´t affect frame rates seriously.
