theHunter is an immersive PC online hunting simulation that combines a massive open world and never been seen before realism with state of the art graphics.
The game is a hunting game with emphasis on realism, stunning environments and realistic animals. With a range of weapons including rifles, bows and revolvers you track, spot and shoot a variety of animals including elk, mule deer, whitetailm feral hog, coyote, pheasant, turkey and many more.
The huge world features full day-night cycle and dynamic weather using an enhanced version of the engine used in critically acclaimed Just Cause 2 available on PS3, Xbox360 and PC. Breathtaking scenery with large forests or open fields with free roaming animals gets you closer to the real life experience than never before.
Explore the world or compare yourself with friends and other players in the leaderboards. Join a wide range of competitions or take on missions handed to you by any of the guides in the game. Statistics are gathered for each individual hunt; every animal hunted, every shot fired and every mile covered. Can you track and harvest that trophy buck? Are you up for the challenge?
The game is developed with the assistance and input of experienced hunters worldwide to provide the most realistic hunting game ever seen on a computer. The artificial intelligence of the game models animal behaviour accurately with all senses simulated. Use camoflague and callers in combination with natural cover to avoid detection and lure the animals.
New features, animals, items and hunting locations are released continuously and added to the game.

theHunter is free to play but you do only have license to hunt mule deer. A membership package gives you access to hunting areas, license to hunt the different animal species, unlimited ammunition to your weapons. In addition the membership packages include a range of weapons, equipment, clothing and other items.

To get your membership and play the game, sign-up at www.thehunter.com (or login if you already have an account) and follow the instructions.
