F-16Glass (single display)
Add-on program for MS FSX – allows you to display a functional, interactive, hi-res bitmapped cockpit display of the F-16C Fighting Falcon. The F-16Glass application is designed to be run across a computer network. The software is not intended to be used on a single computer along with FSX. F-16Glass has very minimal resource requirements which means that it can be installed on a network client with only average processor, graphics, and memory.
Instrument Displays and Controls:
Flight Sim Console Controls – Five soft buttons which allow you to Reset the current flight, Pause the current flight, Record the current flight, Slew the aircraft to another location, Raise and Lower the landing gear (extends or retracts the flaps/slats automatically).
- Integrated Control Panel – Currently allows you to turn the FSX 2-D HUD display (if available) on or off.
- Fuel Flow Indicator – displays the current aircraft fuel flow in PPM (Pounds Per Minute)
- Right Multi Function Display – displays the Horizontal Situation Display (HSD). Includes range controls 15-120NM with cyan ownship and traffic displays including distance and altitude.
- Analog Engine Instruments – displays Oil pressure, Nozzle Position %, FTIT temp, and engine RPM %
- Analog Flight Instruments – displays airspeed, altitude, AOA, Attitude Indicator and VVI
- Speed Brake Indicator – displays the current position of the aircraft speed brakes (open or closed)
- Left Multi Function Display – displays the Fire Control Radar Display (FCR). Includes range controls 10-60NM.
Minimum Requirements:
- MS FSX (SP2 or Acceleration)
- MS Windows 98 and above – XP recommended
- Compatible OpenGL video card
- 10Mbs TCP/IP Network
Installation and Setup:
- Software is delivered by download only
- Select the computer on which you want to install the software.
- Download and run our serial number generation program on that computer
- Email the generated serial number to info@flight-dynamix.com
- Flight-Dynamix, LLC will email your unique F-16Glass software files for installation on your PC. (Note: Each time you install F-16Glass on another computer, another copy of F-16Glass must be purchased)
Options: Instructor Operator Station software and F-16Glass Multi-display version – presents the aircraft flight and engine instrumentation on dual displays.
