The France Mesh covers the whole French territory with a 1.5 second arc data elevation model, about 38 meters (LOD10) in Flight Simulator. This mesh product is the first one to provide such a resolution for France and for DOM.
For its development, we’ve used the IGN BDALTI © data elevation model in an extended Lambert II format with a reprojection into Flight Simulator WGS84 standard format.
To help using it, we’ve splitted it into 9 pieces for France plus 1 piece for the DOM area. This way it’s easy to acquire only desired areas and mix them with other editor’s meshes.
