Gears create a dump sound that comes from the wind in the opening face. This sound is being produced to different Hz and volume based from the opening percentage of the speed of the aircraft and the area surface.

WOW.....WOW...This is a Game Changer my friends. Does exactly as it says...no video preview needed. I took a leap of faith and it was in the right direction..Hello FS9 and welcome the sounds of cockpit joy...to the bells and whistles comparable to that of FSX. A developer finally heard my plea for an utility that would provide this quintessential experience to building the ultimate Flight Sim acoustical sensation in FS9...Thank you FSPS

Not especially great, but not especially bad either. I didn't particularly think that it added a whole lot. It's not expensive, but I'm not sure it's worth the money. Your opinion and mileage may vary, of course.
