A Living Scenery
Following hard on the heels of the Georender Series, Chelan Muni is a scenery like no other. It allows spectacular flying over beautiful mountain and river scenery, often experiencing wind conditions that will challenge even the hardiest of pilots. Whats more, at its heart is a fascinating airport. Its an environment rich with sounds and animations so atmospheric and compelling that you'll find yourself returning again and again. Incorporating the work of the three leading designers on the Lago-Emma Field project, it is no wonder some have called Chelan Muni the 'Emma Field' of Central Washington.
The sounds and animations give a unique quality to Chelan Muni. They give the scenery ambience and 'life'. Created, in part due, to the use of Vistamare's 'Intelliscene' module, a greater variation than previously seen can be introduced by these components.
Features:
- Incredibly realistic representation of the airport and surroundings
- Life-like 'Geomotion' animations.
- Animated hangars ,indicators, windsocks and more...
- Sophisticated and variable sound environment
- All custom built objects
- Highly-detailed MicroScale Texturing (MST)
- Full seasonal and night textures
- Seasonal tree textures with fallen leaves in autumn and blossom in the spring
- Custom AFCAD and artificial aircraft traffic
- Sophisticated night lighting effects
- Incorporates Vistamare IntelliScene module for BGL language extension

I won't waste your time by explaining what is great about this scenery. Those who know why they like flying in and out of these rural runways don't need to know why this scenery is better than others. They just have a need for more. Thus the addiction continues ... And the waiting for the next one begins ... Thank you GEORENDER for helping make Flightsim 2004 amazing. |

Again Georender creates that special place to call home. The little touches and attention to detail are what I love about Geo's sceneries, and Chelan does not disappoint. Also no hit on frames for me. |

Well, at the time of release I suppose it was impressive. But as of July 2007, it does not do much for me. It is nice, but covers too small an area. The objects and textures are fairly ordinary at THIS point in time. Unless you really love VFR and bush flying I recommed not buying it. There are so many products out there that cover more for less money. I would prefer not to rate it but I guess I have to. I will give it a 3 star-rating because I think it is essentially an out-dated product. In 2005 I would have given it 5 stars. Ahh...progress - it spoils us so much... |
