Welcome to Great British Diesels, a collection of locomotives from throughout the diesel era in the United Kingdom. Inside this collection you will find locomotives including the little 08 shunter, the well known class 37 ‘growler’, class 50 ‘Hoover’ and the striking ‘DELTIC’, the precursor to the Class 55 locomotives that carried the same nick name. There are a number of different types and each type is presented in various liveries starting with BR Green, through BR Blue and in to more modern liveries such as Freightliner and Railfreight. In addition to the diesel locomotives a selection of both passenger and freight rolling stock is included that matches the eras represented by the locomotives, including JGA and OHWL wagons, Mark 1 and Mark 2 coaches.
