Introducing a different kind of add-on from HiFi that works with both FSX and FS9! With XPax, the experience of carrying passengers in an airline environment is brought to you in an entertaining and realistic way.
Passengers and their individual statistics including health and approval rating are constantly updated based on the performance of the flight. The entire flight process, from pre-boarding to deplaning, is simulated and supplemented by multimedia content including audio and video.
Cabin attendants, Gate Attendants and Captain voice sets are included and fully customizable using the easy options screen. New voice sets can be recorded with a few clicks of the mouse. Video, provided in a "Passenger point-of-view" format is also fully customizable within the interface with a bit of simple movie production.
XPax is designed to run along-side FS and automatically senses when certain phases of the flight take place, launching appropriate events, audio and video.
With XPax, everything you do is monitored closely and the passengers will react accordingly. Using abrupt control movements, climbing or descending too fast, obtaining unusual attitudes, too many g-forces, aggressive taxi turns or a hard landing will all reduce passenger satisfaction and in extreme cases will cause injuries!

I just purchased this add on and am very pleased with it. It brings my FSX experience to a new level. I recommend it for every one who enjoys FS9 or FSX. Its flight report could be better but it is an excellent add on overall. |

Just bought this and it makes each flight i do in fs9 more enjoyable , i think its worth the money , the only thing i found that could be a little better was the report at the end of the flight, but overall a great add- on. |

People who are comparing this product to FSPassengers are missing the point! This is a different product, aimed at adding a different type of immersion to the sim. Ok, so the flying assessment aspects of it are nowhere near as detailed as FSP but X-Pax gives you is much better audio, videos of flight boarding, the gate, etc, and a general package that adds the hussle and bussle of flying the airlines. I tend to get it going then just minimize it to the tool box on Windows and let it automatically do it's boarding, announcements and other sounds. The other great thing is that this is really easy to set up on a networked PC (how I use it), so you can enjoy the video aspects without disturbing your main FS display. If you want to be scored and assessed for your flying performance in FS, buy FSP instead of this. If you want sound, video and immersion, this is much better than FSP. |

This product is OK but I will stick with FS Passengers, This one does not give you zero fuel weight or loads the fuel for you, whereas FS passengers gives you both these, It's OK to give you pax and cargo weight but you do need your C&G in order to load your FMC correctly and to able to load the fuel is a must. Like I said if you just want some ambiant sounds then this is fine for the money but if you want a lot more then go for FS Passengers |

I think this is an OK product, nothing to write home about though. A lot is missing in this program as oppose to FS Passengers, One thing I have noticed is that once you install this program and use it with FSX you loose your GPWS callouts. I don't know why that is, but I have seem to have lost it on my system. I uninstalled XPax and then was able to use my GPWS in FSX again. I think they need to find a fix for that. The program requires SP1 which I think may be part of the problem, But as far as XPax it sucks comapred to FS Passengers. I will just wait until FS Passengers X arrives.
