FS Instructor is a suite of useful tools for Flight Simulator. It allows to setup, control and interact with the airplane. Compatibility: FS2004 / FSX with WinXP, Vista, Seven 32 & 64bit.
This software contains standard instructor station modules for:
- Failures, pushback, refueling, loading payload, moving a plane to a gate/stand
- Managing automatic pilot, COM, NAV, FS squawk, Weather
- Logbook with history of pilots’ mistakes and failures.
It also provides new features:
- A realistic refueling: you choose the time that it takes to refueling. From « instantaneous » to 20 minutes.
- To follow the ATC connection (IVAO). You can be notified when certain controllers appears online (such as EGGL)
- A strong interaction with Google Earth:
To follow the plane in real-time (moving map) and see runways glide/slope
To record a flight (kml file) and add information like drags, pilot errors, NAVAIDS…
Modules List included in FS Instructor tools V1.0.4
- Google Earth features
- FS Instructor is based on Google Earth.
You can follow the plane in real time & display the runways axis, aircraft data…
- You can record the flight in a kml file (Google Earth). More data, as the NAVAID, the use of the drags, gear, AP… could be added.
- Monitor connected ATC IVAO controllers
To know, in real time, which controller is connected and to be informed when a certain ATC is online
- To Move the aircraft to a stand.
You can use your own list of gates according to the scenery file you have
- Refueling
Refuel one or several fuel within a specified amount of time (from 0 to 20 minutes)
- Payload
Manage loaded PAX, crew and freight
- Failures
To generate different failures to the aircraft (GEN1 failure, avionics…)
- Weather control
Weather screen to set clouds, visibility, temperature, wind and pressure.
- LogBook
FS Instructor manages a log book (HTML file). The main fields are automatically entered at the end of a flight. Events like failures and pilots mistakes are written in the comments field.
- Aircraft Information
It displays aircraft data (such as speed, gear position, attitude, drags…). Abnormal values are highlighted (excessive speed, bank angle…). This module can be moved in Google Earth to be shown inside the moving map.
- PushBack
You control the pushback procedure
- COM, SQUAWK, NAV
To tune COM1, NAV1, NAV2, ADF & FS Squawk box
