Imagine Sim are improving in there works. This is a good work, quite acurate airport and almost no impact on framerate. I can reccommend this airport. |

OSS had this airport under development for quit some time but dropped the whole project. I'm glade someone took it on and brought it to light in FS9 (yes having another FS9 framerate friendly product is diffidently a plus). Bottom line this product is very good and performs very well in FS9 (wish ImagineSim would go back and clean up their resource hogging KEWR). I flew into KMCI a couple of times and found it not to be one of the most desirable airports in the US. Actually ImaginSim's version looks better than the real one (I saw no cardboard up to the terminal windows). This is a great effort and well worth a look by anyone interested in this area.... |

Ooh, one more thing, Keep the FS9 scenery coming. FSX is not where it should be at this point and instead of forcing that down our throats it's great to see developers spend time on a platform that would best represent their work... |

In a previous review, the add-on was said to be be better than the real airport because of cardboard in the windows, and just not a desirable airport. In the mid 2000's, renovation took over every terminal as Kansas City was giving the airport a face lift. Being a real world pilot, and having actually flown into KMCI multiple times, this add-on is near identical. If you fly enough you'll realize it's hard to fly into an airport not giving some sort of renovation somewhere. Only thing I've found is on the ILS 01R, the airplane LOC doesn't quite line up with the runway when doing the approach. The add-on is frame rate friendly. Very detailed version of the airport and very satisfied with the product. |
