Atlas Air, founded in April 1992 is the world's largest air cargo carrier that specializes in the long-term contract outsourcing of Boeing 747-400 Freighter and Boeing 747-200 Freighter aircraft.
This 2 hour program takes you to some of the largest airports in the US including Atlanta Hartsfield, Chicago O'Hare and Dallas Ft Worth. You follow the pilots at work before and during the various flights.
The crews will give you a complete description of the cockpit and that will allow you to see the differences between the -200 and -400 aircraft. Pilots also talk about the advantages of flying for Atlas Air, amongst others, the fact they fly to all corners of the globe.
