Cubana, the national flag carrier of Cuba was created in 1929. Currently the airline is undergoing a modernization of its fleet ; Just Planes was lucky to visit the airline prior to this change and catch the Ilyushin 62 in action! The IL-62 first flew in 1963 and is currently in service with only a couple of airlines. This is a wonderful occasion to discover this aircraft with a roundtrip flight to Bogota, Colombia, in the cockpit. The program includes a walkaround, a cockpit presentations, cabin views and service and a lot more!
Also includes are domestic flights on the Antonov 24 and Yakovlev 42 as well as a flight on the Yak 42 to Costa Rica and Guatemala. The DVD also includes a visit of Cubana's maintenance facility, Havana runway action and more...
