Lionheart has done an excellent job in creating the EPIC. The framerates are very good and even better using the wide screen panel (FSX). The details are very good. The FDE looks right and the G1000's are functional, some nice work has been done. Certainly the price is right and this product is on par with the super viking collection also produced by Lionheart I am certain that AVSIM will write a very favourable review on the Epic LT A good test of the quality of a new product release is the number of repaints that arrive at AVSIM and they are arriving daily. Must be at least 25 repaints so far. The checklist computer is a great idea. Now I am going to put shockwave lights on this aircraft and enjoy it even more. It is a good buy for your FSX/FS2004 aircraft hanger. |

Just a follow-up to my first review. Lionheart Creations has just released build 1.5. Excellent work and a nice finish to a solid performer. Some finetuning to the Turbo Sound file, a little more on the FDE and a few small fixes to the overall package. The shockwave lights add a great touch to the visual effects of the aircraft. The PFD and the MFD in both the 2d and vc panels are first rate. |

I like the new EPIC. The flight dynamics seem to be ok for a small single turboprop, the panel is nice and the VC is stunning. BTW I find it ok if the author uses a few default gauges. The support of LIONHEART is very good. They fix small problems very fast. |

great plane! the detail is amazing, but it costs some fps =( reacts very direct when flying, engine reaction is quite slow (compared to BE350) you can even see the blades turning depending on your setting made me buy the viking too =) |

Im sorry butI am so disappointed with this product. The VC and cabin textures are basic with many free ware aircraft exceeding this standard. there is no glazing texture so its like flying an open cockpit. The external model also disappoints. as you change the view you find that some of the underarrage fairings are so thin that they disappear. I wish i could get my money back. GJ |

Version 1.5. A very nice external model and virtual cockpit. In my opinion, I found the flight dynamics a little on the wild side. The aircraft felt twitchy and a little too sensitive to pitch changes. I suspect the Take Off marker on the trim display on the MFD is in the wrong place as I constantly needed to trim up a LOT, after take off, even when abserving correct weights, etc. (The take off marker is nose down whereas most aircraft require some nose up trim. This maybe correct but I suspect too much nose down trim is being requested by the marker). I also found this aircraft hard on frame rates and quite stuttery and jumpy in FSX, whereas no other addon aircraft are exhibiting this in my FSX installation. In my opinion, this add on is striving to be of Eaglesoft quality but does not yet achieve this in it's current state. Still, the other reviews below are highly appraising of the product so each to their own. |
