The Instructor Station is meant to assist PC Simmers and Cockpit Builders using Flight Simulator (FS2004, FSX). Also many features are available for Project Magenta users (Boeing 737 & Airbus A320 series suites). Compatible with all types of aircraft within FS !

The Instructor Station allows you to set your aircraft on approach to a runway of your choice under any weather conditions, start-up and shutdown your network computers (fully customizable), program or set an aircraft systems failure at any moment, calculate the amount of fuel required for your trip and load it to the aircraft, record the performance of your flight (landings, take-offs, etc.) and plot it graphically, and many other things!

It can work either on the Flight Simulator PC or on a Remote PC (using WideFS).

Main Features:

• Enables you to set the aircraft on an approach to a runway of your choice (see description of the "Positioning" tab).
• Quick Simulator PCs start-up & shutdown.
• Quick and automatic aircraft start-up.
• Allows external control of many Flight Simulator features, such as weather, position, fuel, failures, etc.
• Time and Distance plots of many variables (speed, height, pitch, etc.), including real-time monitoring.
• Runway Approach plots (vertical & horizontal), including real-time monitoring.
• Create reports in PDF.
• Export flight path & navaids to Google Earth (KML file), allowing further performance assessment.
   
• Enables control of the First Officer QNH settings by adjusting only the Captain QNH (project magenta).
• Enables Synchronizing the Flight Simulator time with the system PC time.
• Works on any WideFS connected PC.

System requirements:

This program has been tested to work on a machine with the following characteristics:

• Pentium III, 800MHz
• 256 MHz RAM.
• 8 MB minimum hard disk space.
• Microsoft Windows XP (probably works on other operating systems, but currently not supported).
• Microsoft .NET Framework version 3.5 (click here: download @ Microsoft).
• Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 (many features work on FS2002 & about all on FSX, but these are currently not supported).
• Registered copy of FSUIPC (and WideFS for allowing remote operation).
• Project Magenta for related features. PM Boeing 737 and Airbus 320 series suites: Glass Cockpit, pmSystems, FCU/MCP & MCDU/CDU.
• Network Card (will require Wake-On-LAN compatibility for network related features).
• Google Earth, or another 3D earth browser (geobrowser) implementing the KML encoding, for related features.
   

Installation & Registration

Simply unzip the contents of the ZIP file to a folder of your choice.

Send your product code (will be shown when you run the program in the Login window) to luisgordo@gmail.com. After your payment is verified, a key will be sent to your email address.

Please bear in mind that the key is computer-specific, meaning that if you wish to install the program on another computer, you will have to send a new key request (of course, at no extra cost!).

To run the application, double click on the istation.exe file. A window will appear showing a code and asking you to enter a valid license key. Please introduce here the key that was sent to you by email after your purchase.

If a valid key is not entered, the program will run in Demo mode for 3 minutes.
