Countering the MiG-15

Produced by North American Aviation, the Sabre is best known as the United States' first swept wing fighter which could counter the similarly-winged Soviet MiG-15 in high-speed dogfights over the skies of the Korean War (1950-53).

Considered one of the best and most important fighter aircraft in that war, the F-86 is also rated highly in comparison with fighters of other eras. Although it was developed in the late 1940s and was outdated by the end of the '50s, the Sabre proved versatile and adaptable, and continued as a front-line fighter in numerous air forces until the last active operational examples were retired by the Bolivian Air Force in 1994.

Its success led to an extended production run of more than 7,800 aircraft between 1949 and 1956, in the United States, Japan and Italy. Variants were built in Canada and Australia. The Canadair Sabre added another 1,815 airframes, and the significantly redesigned CAC Sabre (sometimes known as the Avon Sabre or CAC CA-27), had a production run of 112. It was by far the most-produced Western jet fighter, with total production of all variants at 9,860 units.

Introducing the Milviz F-86F Sabre!

We are extremely pleased to introduce to you our rendition of the renowned F-86 Sabre!

As most F-86 enthusiasts will already know, there were many variations of this aircraft over the course of it's service career. In response to the challenges posed by the formidable MiG-15 during the Korean War, a constant stream of improvements were designed and implemented in an effort to acheive superiority.

We've decided give our full focus, talents, and effort to a single variation: the F-86F-30.

The F-86F itself was deemed the 'ultimate MiG killer' and was produced in large numbers, with some 2,540 airframes manufactured. The F-30 represented efforts to counter the high altitude turning radius of the Mig-15, with the famous '6-3' wing being introduced. A significant refinement, this modification deleted the leading edge slats and added a new solid leading edge with six inches more chord at the root near the fuselage and three inches more length at the wing tip. five inch high boundary layer "fence" rounded out the changes.

With a maximum operating ceiling of 52,000 feet, a top speed of 695 miles per hour, and the ability to finally out-maneuver it's primary foe, the F-86F-30 became the supreme day fighter of the world.

Precision & Perfection

Great care and attention has been given to all areas of this model. We've focused heavily on providing authentic flight dynamics that closely mimic the real aircraft, drawing on a wealth of pilot reports and available documentation. As well, we've also strived to closely match the systems of the F-86F30, and matched that with an extremely detailed model and exquisite high definition texturing.

While we've created an aircraft in which you can still 'jump in and fly', those willing to take the time to thoroughly study the provided manual will find a lot to benefit from, along with satisfaction of fully mastering one of the early complex fighter jets!

Highly Configurable

Our F-86F features a custom Aircraft Configuration Menu. Quite in-depth, this can be used to set detailed payload options, radio configurations and ground equipment visibility. Pilots will have to be mindful of how the aircraft is loaded, as adding or removing ordinance or fuel will have an effect on flight dynamics and handling characteristics!

Multi-Platform Support

The Milviz F-86 now supports a wide range of platforms, in single downloadable installer:

FSX: Acceleration
FSX: Steam Edition
Prepar3d v2
Prepar3d v3

18 Available Liveries

The installer includes 6 high definition liveries, including a true-to-life rendition of "The Huff", which was an F-86F-30 flown by Lt. James Thompson in the Korean War with the 51st Fighter Interceptor Wing, 39th Fighter Interceptor Squadron.

In addition, we're also making available an optional livery pack (now freely downloadable!), which includes 12 additional stunning, high definition liveries crafted for the F-86 by Gunnar von Meeren.

TacPack Edition

We are pleased to offer a separate edition of the F-86F-30 that includes TacPack integration for all platforms supported by the TacPack software.

With this edition, as well as an installation of the renowned TacPack software from Vertical Reality Simulations, the armament of the F-86F-30 becomes quite powerful. Experience the weapons of the F-86, from it's guns to HVAR rockets and MK117 bombs. The TacPack edition achieves close to full systems fidelity, with the exception of the automatic release mode for the bombs.

Vertical Reality Simulations' TacPack software offers stand-alone weapons and warfare platforms for both Flight Simulator X and Prepar3d. They are a payware product and are not included with your purchase from Milviz. An appropiate, platform specific version of the TacPack software is required for the above described functionality and integration in the F-86F-30.

DRZEWIECKI DESIGN - NY AIRPORTS V2 X : KEWR, KLDJ, KCDW FSX P3D
Zsolt Monostori
Okay, so I think it's a pity that none so far has decided to come up with a nice and detailed representation of Newark's Liberty Airport. So I got very excited when I first heard that the talented Drzewiecki-team has been working on a brand new version of their New York Airport product. The fact that it includes Newark alone guaranteed I will go for it early on. The detail they packed in this is simply tremendous. You've got two separate products, each featuring three New York airports. This one represents the mighty Newark as a main airport as well as two smaller general aviation or business airfields, Linden and Essex County. The other one embraces two big guys, JFK and La Guardia as well as the busy business beast Teterboro. L-
et's see. The two smaller airports, although small in size, are equally stuffed full of fine details. We've got all kinds of nice clutters scattered across the airports, moving vehicles and people so the whole place comes to life. The ground textures are sharp and pleasant to look at although I still do miss volumetric grass from DD products. But it's nothing more than my personal preference. At least an option to have grass would be great. As said, the superb ground textures make up for it easily so worry you not. The buildings are nicely textured too and the modelling is top notch as is always the case with Drzewiecki's masterpieces and it's certainly no exception. The night lighting is amazing, makes the pilot feel become part of the scene... if they could somehow add the smell of avgas or jet fuel for even more immersion though... On a serious note, these two small airports are very addictive. Linden has grew on me so much I couldn't stop flying patterns in my Cessna 182 - make sure you enjoy the wonderful surroundings if you do so! So far only the busy airports of metropolitan NY came into mind and it's fantastic to now have the opportunity to fly out of and into smaller airfields of the city of the Big Apple. And then we've got Newark. Very, very happy with it. As mentioned, I was eagerly waiting for KEWR to finally appear and I am absolutely satisfied with how DD delivered it. Fine, crisp textures, excellent lighting, SODE jetways and all the little bits and bobs without FPS loss. NY is a demanding area by itself yet I easily maintained over 30 FPS in two of the most complex airliners with my sliders mostly to the far right. Occasionally I experienced some dip into the mid twenties but it's not an issue and appeared to have been momentary only. The whole thing is properly optimized and balanced. On the other hand, many things can be fine tuned via the installer such as texture resolution or the presence of static aircraft, just to name a few, should you wish to increase performance this way. If you wanted a Newark scenery, you can throw this in your cart right now and you'll love it for it is a great value for money. Three airports in one, all three looking gorgeous and performing extremely well, this product is another hit. Kudos for the Drzewiecki-fact-
ory for revisiting their old NY Airports and applying the DD magic, making it one of the best buys for me this year. Strong-
ly recommended!

It's alright, works fine in P3D v4... had to fix the gates, because all the parking spots by the terminal were set as regular GA... no gates were set at all for the airport... but I edited the AFCAD file and fixed the issue. I believe a couple gates are missing, too. According the the terminal map, there should be nine gates from what I can tell, and there were only seven around the terminal building... I was able to fit an eighth gate into the terminal area, but there's really no room for the last one unless the ground markings are changed. All and all, it's fine for the price. WIll likely purchase KMOB, KOKC, and KTUL in the near future...
IRIS PRO TRAINING SERIES - GROB G115E / TUTOR T.1 P3D (DOWNLOAD)
Richard Wraith
WOW doesn't even describe it. Our cadets and staff have been flying the milvis tutor for several years now, and REAL tutors, and I recently upgraded our Sim to P3D v2.5, then installed this aircraft, with NO other addons or tweaks, and it has blown them all away. It looks AMAZING, is exceptionally detailed, realistic and the flight model of it is amazing. Fin-
ally somebody has done the tutor, properly! We-
ll done chaps, jolly good show from all of us over here in Blighty training RAF cadets :-)
AEROSOFT - CRJ 700/900 X FSX P3D
Shanard Letang
It was definitely worth the wait. Good sounds, visuals, and textures. I know there are some issues at the present moment but the AS CRJ works great. There are a few differences from JR CRJ 200, ei, the NW switch that actually moves in the AS CRJ 700/900, startup and shutdown procedures are different to each aircraft. One thing I noticed is the fuel in the CRJ manager does not produce the accurate amount of fuel at times so some additional fuel is require via taxi or holding fuel section. This aircraft is very immersive and fun to fly.
TABURET - FSX P3D NIGHT 3D EUROPE BASE PACK P3D
Johannes Butz
*I own ORBX Global, Vector & OpenLC products that I wanted to enhance with this product* It Illuminates some of the main roads in Europe but not all of them. If you have ORBX Products you'll probably be disappointed. -
I like to fly performance hungry airplanes, wich is why I opted for the "low impact" version of Taburet's night lighting. I guess if you're flying GA or very basic aircraft you'd be better off with buying specific regions of Taburet's Night 3D and if you're like me and you fly FSL A320's or 777/747s AND you don't want to compromise performance, then you're better off with just the ORBX lighting and one click more LOD in my opinion.

Excellent. This is my home airport, so I was glad to see that it is for the most part accurate. Only down side is that the gates don't move, but everything else is good. Thanks for making MFE an FSX reality!
LIONHEART - ROBIN DR400/180 FSX P3D
MESTARI Nordin

Every couple of years, one add-on comes along that can never be done without again. This is definitely one of them.
FSXCENERY - KPIT PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FSX P3D
Tom Richey
Great job Fernando! We really needed KPIT for FSX and this hit the spot. Also, happy to report that VAS usage is minimal without the need of removing any files. The only real issue is the Latin signs on the Jetways. Not very convincing in Pittsburgh. -
