I have been following the developement of this add on for some time. The finnished product is well produced and rates as the best Jinnah scenery available so far on the Market. The night textures are very pleasing with a very good Frame Rate. I would have expected a lower price tag for this product. However, highly recommended. |

[FS2004 version] Ground- and building-textures are ok, no seasonal changes. The only impressive modelling is that of the yellow gate fingers. The night textures on the apron are completely unsatisfactory. The scenery has sharp edges and bright colours that blend very badly into the surrounding terrain. Every now and then there is a little twinkle like e.g. the Mc Donald's building in front of the airport. The AFCAD is exact. The scenery wins over through its exotic flair (seen from a European perspective). The many ground vehicles, which match the models common in that part of the world but are not very detailed, help the scenery to appear rather lively. No dynamic traffic. The airport layout is still up to date 2011. Full AES support available. I fully agree with the external reviews. It is a nice debut feature with an exotic flair which is worthwile a visit. If compared with other payware sceneries, however, it's hopelessly overpriced, especially if you take into consideration that you only get either the FS2004 or the FSX version! I would also not like to accept the statement that it is the best representation of that airport so far, as even the worst freeware implementation of an airport usually is better than the MSFS-standard: in that case it would also be the best scenery available so far if there were no alternatives. I wouldn't spend that much money again! |
