Photo Real Destin/Fort Walton, FL is a ground texture replacement package that overlays the default terrain with high quality, satellite image textures. This scenery encompasses a very large area of some of America's most beautiful beaches. Destin and Fort Walton Beach, Florida are home to the sugar-like sand and pristine turquoise waters. This scenery not only replaces ground textures, it has a beautiful water mask that displays photo real water and the sand beneath it.

Features:

  • Day, Night, Dusk, and Dawn satellite images
  • A water mask that displays photo real water (actual FSX water, not just a flat surface picture of water)
  • Autogen-free satellite textures to ensure no impact on frame rates
  • Beautifully outlined beaches that meet the Gulf of Mexico
  • A blend mask so that the Photo Real textures blend with the default scenery for a smooth transition back to default scenery (as seen in a screenshot)

Perfect! This is my home, and Eglin AFB is the Airport I fly out of most in FSX, however the default scenery, even enhanced with Ultimate Terrain X didn’t cut it. Now, thanks to this product, it’s like I’m flying the real thing. It works great with Ultimate Terrain X, the moving cars are still there and travel the roads perfectly. It also works great with the freeware packages of Eglin AFB and Hurlburt AFB by Art Poole. There’s no frame hit, and it’s just beautiful. Now I need to convince them to expand the coverage area… Two thumbs up and five stars from this simmer. Thank you!
