Hawaii, by far being one the most popular places to fly in flight simulator, is an amazing place for add on scenery. New for 2010, VFR Kauai Hawaii X is a top notch display of Hawaii's beautiful landscape. This scenery is a Day/Night/Dawn/Dusk scenery of the entire island of Kauai Hawaii. VFR Kauai X is made from high resolution 1M per pixel satellite imagery that looks outstanding from any altitude. Not only is this scenery just Satellite imagery land/water, it also has custom placed autogen buildings and vegetation.

I'll go ahead and support this product fully, in contrast to the earlier reviewer. What you must know about Kauai is that a cloud-free day is extremely rare (if not nearly impossible). Mount Waialeale (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Waialeale) is often considered one of the rainiest spots on earth. With rain comes clouds. In any case, this is a tremendous improvement over the default and it complements the FSDreamTeam product quite well.

I was very disappointed with this product for one main reason, and it seems to me it is skillfully avoided in the product screen-shots. Look carefully at the very last screen-shot and take note of the mountains in the far distance on the right. Wow, it is snow on the mountains!! No, its not, its clouds from the satellite imagery and, of course, FSX treats them as part of the terrain. They are imprinted into the curvature of the mesh with the rest of the textures, and it looks just like snow, which for me ruins the feel of Hawaii. There are numerous of these throughout the scenery. They should have been removed (I know it is not easy) or it should be mentioned.
