Durban International Airport was formerly known as Louis Botha Airport. Louis Botha became the first prime minister of the Union of South Africa in 1910.
Following the ending of apartheid in 1994, the reformed South African government implemented a national policy of not naming airports after politicians. The airports name, and that of other international and regional airports in South Africa, was changed to politically-neutral names. Louis Botha Airport was renamed to Durban International Airport as a result.
This scenery package contains a remodeled Durban Harbour and a road network for the city of Durban.
