History

The airport was built on a former World War II airfield in 1947 by the Calcutta Metropolitan Airports Authority. Once regarded as the best in South East Asia, the airport fell into disrepair and was for decades dilapidated and antiquated.

Yangon International Airport is the primary international airport of Myanmar and is located in Mingaladon Township, at 15 km North of downtown Yangon.
The airport's old terminal is used exclusively for domestic flights, and the new terminal, in operation since May 2007, handles international flights.
The runway extension will enable Boeing 747-400 airplanes to use the airport. The work on extending the runway from 8100 feet to 11,200 feet has done. I notice some of the other posts. I do not have any blurred or bleeding textures. I have a GTX 460. I am using windows 7 54 bit. The airport looks good. I do agree it does need some autogen. I have looked at photos and there are a lot of trees by the airport. I still think it worth the money. If you are ready this if reviews and talk around the FS world is 50/50 then do not buy it especially if there is no support for the product. Hope this is revised for those having problems along with some autogen.

This is a very nice Airport as well as the others made by this company. The only problem no support forum. If you like flying in Asia and wished for more Airports besides Overland Japan Airports of VTBS and VHHX and WSSS. Not many very detailed Airports for Asia that is worth the money. Onet has other Airports AES so hopefully soon this will be as well. Also check out Thai Creation Airports you will not be disappointed I assure you. There was a problem with the installer for this airport but after contacting Simmarket I was able to recieved the download for the new installer. If you are a beginner to fs9 then this is worth the money. 5 stars in my book

I agree with the last author. A very good scenery. I only have one complaint which is keeping me from giving this product five stars and that is the lack of a support forum. Tried e-mailing the author but no response so far. The scenery could use a couple of fixes (default scenery bleedthrough). If I do not get a response this may be my last "Onet Valley" scenery purchase.

A generally good product but I am having problems with scenery bleed through too and I would agree with the other reviewers that there is perhaps a need for a little autogen in the surrounding area.But overall a nice addon for a country for which there was very little previously available.

I have the same experience. No response to my e-mail concerning blurred ground textures surrounding the airport. That´s a pity because otherways the scenery of the airport as such is good.
