WIDEFS: Extending the IPC interface for Flight Simulator over a Network
WideFS is an optional addition to FSUIPC* which extends the interface provided by that program to other PCs on a Network, so that you can run appropriate application programs on separate PCs using separate displays.
The WideFS package consists of two parts:
1. WideClient.exe, a program that on the one hand provides what looks like an exact replica of the FSUIPC interface, fooling FS application programs into interfacing with it thinking that it is actually FS, and on the other transmitting these exchanges and receiving data back across the Network.
2. WideServer.dll, a Flight Simulator ‘add-in’ module, installed into and actually running as part of FS, which services the messages and requests from WideClient and interfaces directly into FSUIPC, which must also be installed.
Note that this version of WideFS needs Version 3 (or later) of FSUIPC, and will not work until it is registered by entering the access key into the registration page in FSUIPC’s on-line options.

SPECIAL: You can purchase both FSUIPC and WideFS together and make a saving. Please check the Special Product Options at the top of this page.

IMPORTANT
WideFS is NOT a program for linking several copies of Flight Simulator, nor will it allow scenery or cockpit views on multiple PCs. It is purely for running EXTERNAL applications on a separate PC whilst still communicating with FS as if on the same PC. For such applications to work through WideFS they need to access Flight Simulator through the interface provided and defined by FSUIPC (or originally, for FS98 programs, FS6IPC).
