What has Ludwig van Beethoven to do with Signal Boxes?

Well, actually nothing, because during his life there were no trains. But the German town Bonn, where he was born, has everything to do with Beethoven! The Power Signal Box of Bonn Hbf (Central Station) will give you some pretty challenges. The left-Rhine traffic was immense with the double IC trains in short distance and trains approaching with 160 km/h (100 mph). Additionally 7 level crossings and a symphony of commuter trains can even be a thrill for an experienced signaller.

The layout might look deceptively small, though don’t be fooled. You’ll be pretty busy!

Features:

  • Multiplayer (create dispatcher centre with multiple signallers)
  • Detailed simulation of Power Signal Box type Sp Dr S 60
  • Original Number Entry System with memory functionality
  • Working ZNP801 train descriptor and Annunciator system
  • Digital train descriptor system

Bonn Hbf:

  • 7 Level Crossings
  • 59 Points, 71 Signals
  • 132 Track Sections
  • 970 possible routes
  • Intensive timetable (Left Rhine Side)

Comes together with a detailed signal plan in one page, as well as more pages you can print out and staple together. Also 2 pdf files for printout with the timetable sorted by time or by train number are in the package.

System Requirements :

Minimal :

  • Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista, Windows 7 32 or 64 bit
  • 1GB RAM memory
  • 500MB space free on hard disk

Advisable:

The simulation CAN run on older computers, though we encourage to have

  • 2GB RAM Memory
  • 3GHz multi-core CPU

Monitors

The simulation can run on a monitor with 1024x768 resolution. Though we strongly encourage higher resolutions for a better simulation experience. For optimal results, you might consider having a wide screen monitor. Ideally you would have more than one monitor available.

The simulation uses the Microsoft .NET Framework. If this is not available, it will be installed upon installation of the application.
