I bought the product as soon as it was out and was a little bit disappointed because of the missing coverage (I know the area quite well and the Grand Canyon starts at Lake Powell, Arizona and ends at Lake Mead, Arizona). This Grand Canyon scenery ("all of Arizona") ends between Grand Canyon National and Grand Canyon West, not even including KGCN, the hallmark airport of the area. I contacted R. Taburet and received a complete and polite answer regarding the issue within <24h.
Bootomline is, that he is able to extend the scenery with his available coverage of aerial photographs and will talk to simmarket regarding Grand Canyon 2. I personally encouraged him to charge for his additional efforts (remember Alaska Cinematic 1 and 2?). If we receive a good and complete Grand Canyon scenery, it will certainly be worth more than 20 or so €. I am sure we will see an extension and look very much forward to it. To the pilots in our community: Go to North Las Vegas, get a plane with a G1000, take it out for a week (at least) and you have an experience you will never forget. KSGU has a hotel 200 m from the airport, you don't even need a car, this is my all time favorite place. For all of us: Let's get the complete Canyon for a fair price, as soon as it's ready.
