TROPICALSIM - PUNTA DEL ESTE INTL SULS

The city of Punta del Este is know amongst other things, as one of the most important coastline cities in south america. It's distance from the Brazilian border is around 200km, and is 130km from the capital city Montevideo.

Punta del Este is known for being vacation options from artists and millionaires from various countries, attracting around 400,000 tourists during the high season in the summer.

As well as the beaches, Punta del Este is also known for it's food options, large restaurant variety, as well as the most famous local offering, the "parrillada", a typical Uruguayan barbecue. You will also find casinos, and famous brand clothes stores.

The airport's official name is Capitan Corbeta CA Curbelo International Airport, and is Uruguay's second most important based in the outskirts of the city, near Laguna Del Sauce. The airport has been open since 1996.
