TSS is proud to announce the release of the TSS ATR-42/72 PW Soundpack for FS2004.

With this soundpack,we have captured all the best ATR-42/72 sounds with the four blade config, and put them together, to combine a truly stunning representation of the ATR family.

Besides the real high-end recordings of the engines, this sound also includes:

  • Real Stall sound.
  • Custom Wind.
  • Custom Gear.
  • Custom flaps.
  • Custom Startup / shutdown.
  • Custom Touchdown.
  • Custom Rolling.
  • and ambient cockpit sound, just to bring the experience up, from within the cockpit.

This soundpack also features real idle feather mode.
 

Powerplants
 

  • ATR-42-300 - Two flat rated 1340kW (1800shp) Pratt & Whitney Canada PW-120 turboprops driving four blade c/s Hamilton Standard propellers.
  • ATR-42-320 - Two flat rated 1417kW (1900shp) PW-121s.
  • ATR-72-200 - Two 1610kW (2160shp) Pratt & Whitney Canada PW-124B turboprops driving four blade Hamilton Sundstrand propellers.
  • ATR-72-210 - Two 1850kW (2480shp) P&WC PW-127 turboprops driving four blade Hamilton Sundstrand propellers.

Aerospatiale and Aeritalia (now Alenia) established Avions de Transport Regional as a Groupement d'Intéret Economique under French law to develop a family of regional airliners. The ATR-42 was the consortium's first aircraft and was launched in October 1981. The first of two ATR-42 prototypes flew for the first time on August 16 1984. Italian and French authorities granted certification in September 1985 and the first ATR-42 entered airline service on December 9 1985.
