REQUISITOS FS2004

Although it came into production too late to see action in World War II, the De Havilland Hornet was to see combat in Malaysia during anti-terrorist operations. Conceived as a smaller and lighter version of the Mosquito, the Hornet packed two Merlin engines of 2,035 horsepower. The propellers rotated in opposite directions, eliminating takeoff swing. The Sea Hornet was a modified version with folding wings, strengthened landing gear, and other naval adaptations. Hornets equipped various units until as late as 1955.
