Tan Son Nhat International Airport (IATA: SGN, ICAO: VVTS) is the largest airport in Vietnam. It is located 4 mi (6 km) north of the center (District 1) of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).
The airport is operates from two terminal buildings - Domestic Terminal 1 and International Terminal 2.
The new international terminal opened in September 2007 with the capacity of 8 to 10 million passengers per year, giving the airport a total capacity of 15-17 million passengers per annum.

Tan Son Nhat International Airport has its origins in the early 1930s, when the French colonial government constructed a small airport with unpaved runways, known as T?n S?n Nh?t Airfield near the village of Tan Son Nhat.
By mid-1956, with U.S. aid, a 7,200-foot (2,190 m) runway had been built and the airfield near Saigon became known as South Vietnam's principal international gateway.

I reviewed this scenery some months ago. I still think there are some problems with the darkness of the textures but I gave it all a second chance. I have by myself changed the textures so that they became much brighter and that made a big change. Suddenly I can see how nice and detailed the scenery really is. Specially the trees and the ground textures are superb.
If you make the tarmac and conc texures brighter it will change a lot and compared to google maps those textures HAVE to be much brighter than they are in this scenery by default.
I give the scenery 4 stars because you have to change the textures to make them realistic.

I like this airport. Noy much hit fps. I have an I7 pc with 8gb of ram. The textures are dark but very detailed. Not dark enough to cause me not to want the airport. I have no idea what the airport looks like in rel life. Fs9 has so many payware airports that not all textures are made the same. Seems like in FSX the textures are more the same. You can only model textures in which fs9 or fsx is limited to. FS9 came out 2003-2004. Not many machines could handle high end textures when it came out. I recommend this as a great add-on. I hope they do more and the airports get AES as well. The only drawback to this one is the town outside the airport seems very small amd looks like something on a x-mas shirt from long distance as you apporach. Becomes more clear as you get closer. As I said before i do not know what the airport or city looks like. Most designers who have very realistic airports and put the time in try their best to model the airport and surrounding areas. So with that I give the airport 4 stars. Keep up the good work and hope to see more soon.

in addition i want to say that it seems that this scenery is a little bit frame-rate hungry too. so i hope that this also change within an update.

What a disapointment - I have Hanoi and Siem Reap from Thai Creatio which both are superb and real 5 stars sceneries - but this one is kind of weird. The textures are way too dark and the sourrounding town is made in a very strange way. I also have issues with performance and stutters and even from time to time CTD.
To me it seems as this time Thai Creation did a left hand work.
I hope there will be an update that changes the texture colours and the sorrundings.
