AEROPORTO DI MARINA DI CAMPO
The Marina di Campo Airport is the main and only airport of the Elba Island, located in Tuscany, Italy. Born in the 60s to enhance travelling from and towards the Elba island, this beautiful venue hosts a 1.2 kilometer runway with two nice aprons. Today is owned by Alatoscana s.p.a. which as of 2015 registered 17.000 passengers movements. Different companies are working on this base, such as "Silver Air", the "HeliAir Elba" aerotaxi, the Coast Guard and an helicopter from the Tuscan Region for fighting the hot summer fires. With its popular runway 16 approach, this aerodrome challenges General Aviation pilots.
