The Fairey Firefly was designed to fill a 1939 specification for a two seat, single engine, front gun fighter for the Fleet Air Arm, to replace the Fulmar which was about to enter service as a rush measure.

Due to other demands on the first Firefly F1s weren’t delivered until March 1943, with 1770 forming as the first operational squadron in July 1944 and soon in action taking part in the pre-D-Day attacks on the Tirpitz.  Subsequent operations would see 1770, 1771, and 1772 operating in the Indian and Pacific Oceans with Fireflies being the first British built combat aircraft to fly over the Japanese islands.

Towards the end of the war the radar equipped FR.1 and NF.1 were introduced, the former for armed reconnaissance, the later for night interception.  Both arrived in the Pacific too late to take part in combat but were busy throughout the region up to the outbreak of the Korean War when 827 squadron took part in the first air strike of the war with its F.1 and FR.1 aircraft.

One of the best scenery and airport even seen in MSFS. The amount of objects buildings and AI planes is unmatched. The area surrounding the airport is outstanding in it's beauty. The sea, mountains, ships and boats make it a special place to fly from.

ON-NEXT DEVELOPMENT GMBH - SIMSOUNDS 4.0 MSFS

Hi everybody, I got this add-on a couple of days ago. As a flightsimmer and reviewer/news-p-
oster myself at FsVisions.com i have seen a lot off flight simulators. I started flightsimming more than 25 years ago, and i am amazed with the quality and future possibilities of MSFS. There are already some freeware and paid add-ons released for this sim. But none of them brings so much realism as SIMSOUNDS 4.0. The sounds are amazing, and the quality of the crew voices is the best i have ever heard in a simulator. No robots anymore as a cabin crew. This is an absolutely must-have add-on! If you want MSFS coming to life. Than this is it. I normally don't write little reviews like this one, but in this case i wanted it. If you like her eis the link to my review at FsVisions.com: https://www-

This sound package brings realism to the Carenado ATR 72-500...before there was no real audible difference between feather and idle...now I can clearly hear the difference between the two positions.I do hope that they work something out for the Saab 340 as well.

Performs fantastic and looks equally as fantastic.. One of the first major payware scenery addons for MSFS 2020 and it doesn't disappoint.

Great scenery, Washington DC have returned to his true beauty, I have flown over the city and it is magnificent, but the Jefferson Memorial is half buried in a round autogen. Hope you will correct it soon. Thank you.
