Florianópolis International Airport - Hercílio Luz (IATA: FLN, ICAO: SBFL) is an international airport in the municipality of Florianópolis, in Santa Catarina. It is the main airport in the state of Santa Catarina. The name of the airport is a tribute to Governor Hercílio Luz, an important politician in Santa Catarina.
The airport has been managed since January 3, 2018 by Floripa Airport. The concessionaire is a subsidiary of Zurich Airport, the company responsible for the management of Zurich Airport, the most populous city in Switzerland. As part of the concession's concession plan, which extends over 30 years, a new passenger terminal was built, with a capacity for 8 million users per year. The new terminal was opened on September 28 and went into regular operation on October 1, 2019.
