What is FSFO Lite?

Flight Simulator First Officer Lite is a generic virtual copilot that is a must for online and offline pilot’s alike. To assist the online pilot, FSFO will automatically generate VATSIM messages to paste in your client (e.g. VPilot and Squakbox) tune your ILS/crse and transponder.  It will dramatically reduce your workload so you can focus your attention on communicating with controllers.  Yet, FSFO Lite is also a valuable utility to those who prefer to fly offline. After all, the primary function of FSFO Lite is to assist the Pilot In Command (PIC) to fly ANY aircraft safely, while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This program is specifically written to augment other copilot add-on programs. However, it can also be used independently as it offers a wealth of features, which include, but are not limited to the following:

Automated VATSIM Messages:
Generates taxi-out message when engines are started
Generates takeoff message when you approach the selected runway
Generates clear of runway message when you reach your acceleration altitude, plus 300 ft
Generates approach message when you are within 50nm of the destination airport
Generates on final message when you’re within 25 nm of the destination airport
Generates clear of runway message when you land at the destination airport and speed drops below 45 knots
Messages are automatically copilot to the windows clipboard; so, all you have to do is paste them into your VATSIM client

Auto plays Flight Deck Announcements:
  Safety Message
Welcome Aboard (message depends on weather conditions)
  Flight Attendants “Prepare for Takeoff”
  10,000 ft chime
We’ve reached our cruise altitude (message depends on turbulence)
  Descent Announcement
  Flight Attendants “Prepare for Landing”
Welcome to our destination (message depends on weather conditions)

Integrated Checklists*:

When activated, the copilot will call the item and wait for the correct setting, or set it himself/herself based on your checklist parameters.
There’s no need to spend hours configuring checklists as they’re already integrated within FSFO. These checklists are comprehensive enough to ensure the safe operation of any aircraft within your fleet.

Checklist can be initiated by pressing the following keys:

ctrl + numpad 1 – Activates the appropriate checklist based on specific flight parameters.
FSFO contains the following checklist based on the manufactures operating guidelines:
      737NG
      A319/2/21
      757/767
      777
      CRJ
      Default Jet
      Default Turboprop
Many more checklist planned; plus, we’ll take request

Speed Calls:
  Copilot calls Speed Alive
  Copilot calls 80 Knots
  Copilot calls V1
  Copilot calls Rotate
  Copilot calls V2
Copilot calls clean speed, flaps up
  Copilot calls “acceleration altitude”
Vref monitoring (i.e. copilot will advise the captain when the airspeed falls below the imputed value on landing)

Engine Callouts:
  Calls “Engine 1, 2, 3, or 4 Started”
  Calls “All Engines Stable”

Externally Balances and Loads Aircraft Fuel and Payload

Safety Checks:
Before Takeoff - Copilot checks the flaps, trims and autobrakes; if they're incorrect, he will warn you
After Takeoff - Copilot checks the landing gear and flaps; if they're incorrect, he will warn you
Before Landing - Copilot checks the landing gear, flaps and spoilers; if they're incorrect, he will warn you
Doors – Copilot will warn you anytime the engines are running and the main door is opened

Copilot Options*:
Raise Gear – Copilot will advise and/or raise the gear when detecting a positive rate of climb
Manages Flaps – Copilot will advise and/or extend/retract the flaps during the landing/takeoff phase of the flight
Manages Autopilot - Copilot will arm the heading, speed hold and altitude after the aircraft passes acceleration altitude
Manages Altimeters - Copilot will advise and/or set altimeters to standard when above Transition Altitude (TA); he will also advise when passing below TA
Reverse Engs - Copilot will advise and/or engage reverse thrust/power upon landing; moreover, he will return the power to idle when the aircraft falls below the speed selected via the User Configuration screen
Speed Warns - If selected, Copilot will:
Advice you if the Indicated Air Speeds (IAS) goes above 250 knots, while the aircraft is below 10,000 feet MSL.
Advice you if your ground speed exceeds the knots established via the User Configuration screen, “GS Warn” option. The default is 25 knots
Manages Lights - Copilot will turn on/off the landing, taxi and Strobe lights at the appropriate flight phase
Set ILS - Copilot will tune the NAV1 & NAV2 frequencies and courses to setup for ILS approach
Systems monitoring - Copilot can inform the pilot when yaw damper, pitot heat, battery, avionics, APU, generator switches, engines and wing anti-ice, hydraulic and fuel pumps have been engaged or disengaged.  The copilot will also inform the pilot of the aircraft lighting (e.g. nav, beacon, taxi, landing, and strobe lights) status
Flight Control Monitoring - Copilot can callout flap changes, parking brake, landing and spoiler statuses.  For example, if you retract the flaps from 10 to 5, the copilot will call “flaps 5.”  If the landing gear is extended, the Copilot calls “landing gear down”
Flt Mode Calls –Copilot can inform the pilot when Master Autopilot, NAV, ALT, HDG, FD, A/T, and APPR modes have been engaged or disengaged

Aircraft Sys – FSFO Includes critical systems to your freeware/default aircraft:
Altitude Alert – Audible “beep-beep-beep” is heard when the aircraft is within 1000 feet of the programmed altitude
Bank Angle Warn – Audible “bank angle-bank angle” warning is played when the aircraft bank angle exceeds the degrees established via the User Configuration screen, “Bank Angle” option. The default is 26 degrees
Stall – Audible stall warning is heard when the aircraft falls below the stall speed, as read from the aircraft.cfg
Overspd – Audible stall warning is heard when the aircraft is above the maximum operating airspeed, as read from the aircraft.cfg
GPWS – Activates the Ground Proximity Warning System (e.g. 500, 400, 300…). The system is armed when the aircraft exceeds 3000 ft AGL
Generic, Airbus, Boeing and MD sounds included
Generic VNAV system; when engaged, the computer will control the aircrafts climb vertical and speed settings
Corrects FS2004/FSX default autobrake systems; disarms the autobrakes after takeoff and when the aircraft falls below 30 knots on the landing roll.

Obtain relevant information with a click of a key and/or button:
Provides METAR (i.e. weather) data inside the sim…there’s no need to click off the screen
Provides runway data (e.g. Length, Frequency, Course, and Type)
  Displays the airport Transition Altitudes
Provides a Loadsheet inside the sim
Auto-tunes Comm1 to Unicom and sets the transponder to 2200 (IFR)

Miscellaneous Options:
Saves/Loads Aircraft location; you can click a button and have your aircraft moved to the last saved location
  Computes Top Of Descent
  Pauses at TOD
Loads Flight Plans directly into your GPS

Simbrief integration – Send your imported flight plan directly to simbrief for dispatching:
Upload the dispatch report to the simulator kneeboard, which allows you to access the report from inside the simulator

* Some features may not work with advanced add-ons; nevertheless, you will still find this product very useful!
**FSFO can be configured so the Copilot simply advices the pilot of these actions.  It’s up to you, the pilot, to determine how much control the first officer has.  Also, some of these features may not work with some sophisticated add-on aircraft.  To that end, FSFO will be able to read the values and advice as appropriate, but may not be able to perform the function.

Doesn't seem to work with the PMDG 737NG/Aerosoft Airbus). Co-Pilot doesn't retract the gear on take off, doesn't turn off the light's at FL100, Co-Pilot calls out "Reverse engines" but doesn't actually reverse the engines etc. So beware, if you want to use this product in combination with a complicated/Semi complicated aircraft add-on.. it won't work!

BRSIMDESIGNS - DEBONAIR 35 - MSFS

The Debonair modeled is the 35-E33, which was actually a Bonanza as far as I understand (the A33-C33 were Debonairs, there was no D33 and the E33 switched to the Bonanza name.) The Debonair was essentially a Bonanza with a straight tail at a time when the V-tail 35 was popular. Regardless, for all intents and purposes this is a Bonanza. Kee-
nly, BRSim understood the Debonair's cargo potential. From the 35-33 supplement: "Careful workmanship and inspection employed in airframe construction assure that structural components will withstand flight loads in excess of FAA requirements for a Utility Category airplane at the certified maximum gross weight of 3050 pounds." Well represented by a dynamic cargo loading animation (move the payload slider to see boxes and suitcases come and go), this is nice choice for GA cargo operations in your preferred mission software. If I could give 1/2 star reviews I'd give this 2.5/5 until the glaring issues are resolved but because I do like the addon for the most part, I'm giving it 3. The developer has indicated they are taking feedback in this week and then will work on a fix, but I really think a lot of the issues with this aircraft, especially the size of the aircraft, should have been caught and dealt with before release. I noticed everything in my cons list in under 30 minutes of flying, most of it before taking off. While I'm still recommending this addon, it's unfortunate to not thoroughly beta test your release. Pro-
s: - It flies nicely, no issue with the aerodynamics though I wonder if any of them are lifted from the stock Bonanza as the sounds are. That said, it doesn't feel quite like the stock Bonanza, it has its own character. - Model and texture quality is very good overall. - Animations are mostly excellent. - Opening doors (2) and window (1). - The dynamic cargo loading is really cool. - Fuel transfer system works well. - Everything is truly clickable. - Working circuit breakers. - Nice selection of 8 liveries to start with, not sure if there's a paint kit though. - Swappable electronic attitude indicator. - Toggleable static elements are modeled. - No issues encountered with any navigation equipment. C-
ons: - It is oversized. The pilot looks tiny in it and it's way too big next to other aircraft. - The nose cone wobbles alarmingly. - The prop disc animation is awful to look at, it needs to be much more transparent. - The nose wheel (animation) doesn't turn as much as it should during taxi. - The parking break lever is reversed. - The sounds are not original from what I understand. - No sound attenuation for the engines when opening doors/windows. -
- Engine sounds are too quiet. - The carb heat seems to have no effect. - Winglets on tip tanks doesn't make sense. - No option to remove tip tanks. - Glass reflections (from external view) are pretty much nonexistent. - Brakes are very sketchy. I don't mind this if it's accurate as it adds some character. - I had to use 'b' to recalibrate the altimeter because when doing it using the mouse-wheel it had a tendency to fully reset itself, this happened several times. The mouse-wheel can be used to increment it, but not decrement, that causes the reset for me.

Previous comment is %100 wrong. All the monuments mentioned in the comment is in the scenery. And 3d models of them. And also the bridges. Even the latest bridge which was built recently is there. As a born&raised "Istanbuler" I have been using this scenery for quite some time and I'm pretty content with it. Yes there are some minor things here and there but all in all It's a very nice product! After an update it would easily get a 5 star from me!

Nice, accurate rendition of that small international airport located in Normandy, France. Easy, reliable installation. -
Convenient place for regional aircrafts to depart to/arrive from airports in the UK I've dropped one star because of the following: 1. the ADEX file is missing the required hold short taxi point for the AI traffic be actually active. No AI traffic departure - it vanishes from parking at the time of departure - nor AI traffic arrival - it vanishes when entering the exit taxiway. You've gotta edit the faulty file through ADEX. 2. Very VAS demanding addon - 800 Mb of VAS on my system - for a somewhat small airport. FSX uesr, be warned: don't ever try to land at tha BDOA's airport with those VAS hungry aircrafts like the Carenado's or the Flight1's. Do go for those 100% VAS efficient aircrafts like the Majestic Dash8-Q400... and others. Chee-

I have ORBX Global Base and instead of the runway there is a mountain (with runway lights)...so it's not REALLY compatible, but overall I am confident, because there's also space enough to land right before the runway...

Very good model and works really perfect. Will like to have the GPS changeable with GTN750 from PMS50 . Some cool options like the side cargo door and the mechanical to digital switchable attitude Indicator.
