Tocumen International Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen) (IATA: PTY, ICAO: MPTO) is the international airport of Panama City, the capital of Panama. The airport serves as the homebase for Copa Airlines and is a regional hub to and from The Caribbean, South, North and Central America and additionally features routes to some European cities. The airport handles 15,616,065 annually and it’s undergoing a major expansion of its terminal area. Terminal 2 (South Terminal) is expected to open in Late 2018 – Early 2019. With the opening of the new terminal, major airlines as Emirates and Air Europa are expected to operate flights to MPTO. (Source: Wikipedia)
