Following the OMSI add-ons Berlin X10 and Rheinhausen, the third OMSI routes add-on from Halycon Media takes players to the beautiful city of Bremen in northern Germany.

In collaboration with Bremer Straßenbahn AG (BSAG), we’ve recreated eight regular bus lines plus additional special lines for OMSI 2: the Omnibus Simulator.

Over 500 new 3D objects have been produced specially for this add-on, making the routes highly memorable.
Includes licensed MAN buses in different variants with genuine liveries. Thanks to the support of BSAG, not only are the routes based on actual timetables, but genuine on-board announcements are used. The modular selection options enable a whole host of different bus variants.

Numerous Bremen streets have been virtually recreated in high detail based on route maps, and lots of new junctions, landmarks and distinctive buildings have been developed as 3D objects specially for this OMSI add-on.

Passenger voices with north German accents, new AI vehicles and the faithful recreation of actual routes add up to a realistic experience of what it’s like to drive a bus through north Bremen.

Lines included in this add-on:

  • Drivable BSAG lines from 2009 to December 2011: 75 (between Rönnebeck and Grohn), 76 + 76E, 78 and 79
  • Thanks to the chronology function, from December 2011 the 90s lines are added to the game: drivable lines 95E (Vegesack – Rönnebeck), 96, 97, 98 and 99
  • Lines 75 and 76 run from the Blumenthal depot to Vegesack rail station (75/76) and Jacobs University in Grohn (75)
  • Lines 75/76: run through Lüssum, past Blumenthal water tower, Blumenthal rail station, North Bremen hospital and Gustav-Heinemann-Bürgerhaus, and via Sagerstraße to Vegesack rail station

Briefly put: recommended. Easy installation with bgl files activated like scenery addon, corrects time issues at all my airports and thus corrects sunrise and sunset issues I had with Iceland airports. Regu-
lar updates are needed to keep track of day shifts and are also provided as download from the developer site. Well worth to add it to your sim world.

This review is coming right after I just reviewed the excellent Joinville scenery. Fortaleza is another great scenery from this developer, which offers a great location at the northern part of Brazil. This makes this location quite accessible for flights to major cities in the US and Europe. The surrounding scenery is amazing, with what seems like hundreds of buildings, which give a great sense of an urban city, yet performance seems to be quite good as my frames only take minor hits in fps. The only minor thing is that the runway markings seem a bit blurry up close, but once you rise above a few feet, it becomes much better looking. Also, the runway and apron ground textures could also be somewhat sharper. If I may, i'd love it if the developer could improve this, as this would then make the airport 5+ stars, and amongst the best of the best. Once again, another outstanding effort from this developer!

I think most people would overlook this airport, wondering where the heck Joinville is?!? I am happy to say that this is one of the BEST airport sceneries I have ever purchased! The scenery is very detailed, in both the airport and surrounding areas. A nice touch is that the nearby radio towers are designed to pulse their strobe lights, which is something I haven't seen before in any scenery (well done!) The Joinville area is great for GA flying, and feels very much like flying in a small to mid-size city in the US. What's nice though is that the airport supports 737 jets (with SODE jetways), which allows me to go to all parts of South America non-stop. Th-

Based on this experience, I immediately purchased the Salvador and Fortaleza airports, which are also outstanding. PAINTSIM - UHD TEXTURE PACK FOR CAPTAIN SIM BOEING 757-200 III P3D V4

The textures result in very low FPS in the simulator. Is there any way to improve this? The FPS is around 1/2 of what I receive from the regular paint kit, even with lowered resolution of textures in the sim. Otherwise very nice!

Really an excellent simulation of a classic. System depth is extensive you get a lot for the price. Following the amplified checklists can take around 30-40 minutes before your ready to taxi but shortcuts can be taken. The INS system is also included and quite detailed. A joy to hand fly but you need to stay on top of things because there is no automated systems like Auto-throttles and V-Nav modes; you got to fly it. Comes with a complete set of performance charts to help you determine correct stabilizer trim , EPR values and fuel requirements. This is far superior to any other DC-8 available IMO and is a must have for any fan of historic steam driven jetliner. Btw the yokes are removable by clicking the air-brake lever on the MIP. My wish list would include a dedicated cargo version/livery. A load/flight planner with a little bit higher fidelity and the ability to incorporate Milviz Wx Radar. The radar included only displays terrain, or at least that's my understanding. Nice Job!
IMMERSIVE AUDIO - 737NG CFM IMMERSION SOUNDPACK HD FSX P3D

First off - I am a hobbyist. I work with music and therefor know my speakers and reference headphones very well. My complete audio chain is as short as possible to deliver the most accurate (flat) sound from whatever system I use. Typical-
ly I am not a fan of modding an original product like the NGX. The stock sounds are already pretty good, I would say better than most 3rd party sounds. Prior to replacing any sounds, I subconsciously neglected to fly the NGX and always picked other aircraft. When trying to pin-point what made me do that, I found the stock sounds - especially in cruise - fatiguing to my ears. The first replacement sounds I got were by TSS. While these sounds are high quality and I have nothing negative to say about them - they didn't "feel right" for the flight deck, but for improvement they were much easier on my ears. With the 737NG CFM Immersion sounds Immersive Audio did a fantastic job in creating a sound environment, that I can imagine being present on the real aircraft. The first thing I was concerned about, was the return of those frequencies I mentioned earlier. I am very happy to report that those are not present at all. The quality of audio is excellent and certainly fits the NGX simulation very well. At first I was a little mislead by the volume of the sounds through the promo video, but after a couple of flights it all seems very natural. That is what makes this package so good - it all feels very well tied in with the original product, the NGX goes hand in hand with the sounds. One critical point I found was that the sounds behind the engines are super silent, which makes it almost feel a bit "unreal" when looking at the plane from a chase perspective or panning around it. Also the transition between the front and aft of the wing seems a bit too harsh for me. Over all this is a solid add-on, that does what it's supposed to do, nothing more or less. With the price in consideration there's no other option than to fully recommend this product.

I run this in P3DV4.2 on a 4K i7700K GTX1080 setup. It's buttery smooth. I was not always a fan of DD. I had an old Miami that never worked in FS9 but this is totally in the other direction. I flew in from KALB and first noticed the very detailed 5M mesh somewhere up the Hudson.......no-
t a single drop in FPS and that applied right into Manahattan. If you have a high end system it's a no brainer. Anything lower in the food chain and you might have to look at your config. A totally immersive NYC. I'll now consider the airports add-on.

This scenery will greatly improve the Boston surrounding area. There accurately placed buildings, bridges and vegetation. The only improvement would be to have night lighting however, I don't fly much at night so no issues there. This is compatible with FlyTampa's KBOS. Follow instructions on FlyTampa's site and ensure the AF2_KBOS is labeled off.
