I started with the PMDG 737 version of this software and liked it so much I took advantage of the recent Black Friday sales and also bought this one and the Qualitywings 787 app. So far they have all worked flawlessly. The programme works just like FS2Crew but without having to bind buttons etc. Voice control is also an option, but I haven't tried that yet. FSFO allows you to delegate as much or as little control as you want to the co-pilot and is very easy to set up. Just click a few checkboxes hit the start button and away you go. The FO also makes weather based announcements to the cabin, even to the point where on landing he tells them to put their jackets on because it's cold or raining! I can't wait for the PMDG 747 version to come out. :) It also helps that the Dev is very responsive and helpful.

The model and textures are simply great, as well the immersion in the VC and in the virtual cabin. The engine sound is ok, even the start-up sequence seems too short. The flight dynamics seems reasonable. The model has the Carenado usual animations which looks great. Unfortunately there is a major bug in regard to the stab trim indication which is reversed when the instrument lights are switched on.

I can not recommend this update. To ask for money for this content is bold. The PBR textures are good, yes. New parking positions too. But that you have not even implemented the new advertising on the jetways is just cheeky. There are sceneries where such updates appear regularly and free of charge! Conclusion: Those who already own the old version, should despite the update price, think hard about whether it is necessary to buy this update because the content for the price leaves much to be desired.

This scenery pack is well detailed, through and through. Besides the expected decrease in frames per second, it makes flying into The Big Apple a breath of fresh NYC air. Wonderful addition to your X-Plane Sim.
