Note 1: This course is currently available for Russian speakers only. Avoid buying it if you can’t speak and understand Russian. English version is planned for the future —stay tuned!
Note 2: This course includes basic aviation theory and VFR flying under FAA rules (for flying in the US airspace). Most of the learning time is devoted to aviation theory, the first flight will take place in the 3-rd lesson only. Be ready to listen, write, understand and remember. Also it does not include instrument flying, GPS and radio navigation. These are covered in the IR course.
Note 3: This course is not intended for use in the real-world flight training. It designed for flight simulators only. The real-world practical training takes much more time and covers more topics.
New to the world of aviation and flight simulators? Experience a lack of theoretical knowledge that prevents you from comfortable and correct flying? Then this course is for you!
This training course includes:
- 7 lessons with instructor, 2-hours each — a total of 14 hours (using online whiteboard or simulator), 4 of which are practice flights.
- Aircraft construction.
- Basic aerodynamics.
- Instruments and systems
- Basic navigation (for visual flights).
- Basic Meteorology.
- Visual Flight Rules (VFR).
- Operation of a light aircraft with a fixed pitch propeller and non-retractable landing gear (we use Cessna 172 for trainings).
- Two practical lessons: pattern and cross-country flights.
- Recommendations for further study, including recommended reading.
Your instructor is a skilled virtual pilot with a more than 25 years of experience in simulators who has VATSIM pilot and ATC ratings, as well as some experience in flying real Cessna 172 and full-size simulators.
This service is intended for flight simulator pilots and a wide range of people interested in aviation.
