Is an addon for Lockheed Martin® Prepar3D® that covers the entire Ural Federal District territory with a brand new landclass and landscape scenery providing a better rendition of the land cover and the finest hydrographic network designed to bring the best experience in VFR flying. Unfortunately in Prepar3D the vast territory of Russia is represented rather poorly. The Digital Russia Project from Sky Flyer Hangar corrects this flaw and adds a huge amount of details for VFR flights as well. By geo-analysis of a huge amount of osm data, key features of the landscape are highlighted. the project adds a huge number of roads, forests, corrected and added water resources (including small rivers and streams), towns, villages, fields and many other unique details in order to bring your flight to reality.
Took a chance and tried the Far Eastern Federal District from Sky Flyer Hanger (Digital Russia) and loved it! Much better than I thought it might be from a company I had never heard of before. Extremely well done scenery that does a fine job covering an area of the world that has been ignored but is well worth flying over! I liked the visuals for the FEFD area so much that I picked up the Urals and then all the other Federal Districts as well so that I can now fly over most of Russia. Been mostly flying out of UHWW and UNNT airports. All the districts in the set are well done, ORBX quality maybe even better at times. Not too hard on the frame rates using P3D5, either. However, tried to get the scenery to work with my lower end PC running P3D4 but for some strange reason it would not work. Installed the scenery but then when I went back to check it was no longer in the P3D4 scenery listings. Therefore, not totally sure about the P3D4 compatibility or why this happened to me but I mainly use P3D5 so no complaints whatsoever on that platform. I hope Sky Flyer Hanger considers adding the areas around the Caucasus Mountains near the Russian border with Georgia at some point as that would be a very cool area to fly over. Good work, Sky Flyer Hanger!
