The De Havilland Vampire was developed during World War II, following closely behind the Gloster Meteor, and is one of the world's first jet fighter aircraft. It arrived too late to serve in the war, but provided excellent service to a mumber of countries for many years after. Total production of the Vampire exceeded 4500 units in a number of different variations. The T.22 Sea Vampire is a two-seat trainer aircraft, built for the Royal Navy, powered by a Goblin 35 Turbojet, with 73 units built.

If you’re looking for a early military jet type on the cheap, then the Vampire could be just what you want. Of course it’s sub sonic and relatively slow for a jet powered military aircraft but it’s fun to fly. The cockpit is mediocre at best and has limited functionality which is typical for a Virtavia product. The exterior models are not bad at all. Not anything spectacular but a fair and low coat plane to enjoy.
