Kualanamu International Airport (IATA: KNO, ICAO: WIMM) (often spelled as Kuala Namu and informally abbreviated KNIA) is an international airport serving Medan, Indonesia, and other parts of North Sumatra. It is located in the Deli Serdang Regency, 23 km east of downtown Medan. Kualanamu is the third-largest airport in Indonesia after Jakarta Soekarno–Hatta and Bandung Kertajati, and the fifth busiest airport in Indonesia as of 2018, as well as the first Indonesian airport to receive four stars rating from Skytrax.

The airport was opened to public on 25 July 2013, handling all flights and services from Polonia International Airport, an airport located at the heart of Medan which was deemed dangerous. The airport was built on the former site of an oil palm plantation of company Perkebunan Nusantara II Tanjung Morawa. The airport is expected to become the new international transit center in Sumatra and the western part of Indonesia. It is part of the Indonesian central government's "Masterplan to Accelerate and Expand Economic Development in Indonesia" (MP3EI) program. The airport was also considered as a candidate for ASEAN Single Aviation Market (ASEAN-SAM), an open skies policy among member-countries in the Southeast Asia region starting 2015.

I was very hopeful, as I believe that Indonesia deservers more add-on scenery for P3dv5. Hence, I was thrilled to see this new Developer bring this product to the market. Installation: you need to figure it out yourself. No readme file or instructions. Their website points to a Discord support forum. which I do not think I must be forced to use. Scenery itself is acceptable, some detail on the PAX Apron, the cargo apron has been neglected to provide details such as carts and more specific markings. The Fire station has been given a priority emphasis, but this is not seen from either the Terminal or Cargo Apron. For some reason, I can not get GSX nor my UltimateGround wo work anywhere on this scenery (Cargo nor Apron it recognizes any gates). Night/Dusk/Day lightening are good. Overall, I would have given 4 Stars, but due to zero installation instructions I can only given this 3 Stars - especially the EUR 11 is a steep price to pay, when I bought comparative sceneires from Devs e.g. for Vietnam, China, SAmerica for EUR 5 to 10 and they came with full installation files AND GSX/UltimateGround worked straight from the box. Dear Developer: please take this as an encouragement to re-thinkif you do not want to include a installation file into your download package. Thanks.

Very well made airport and surrounding area. Comes with a "pro" installation method. I like it!
